NASIM JAVAHERI, O.D.

Dr. Nasim Javaheri received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and later obtained her doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry, graduating with honors.

Dr. Javaheri is an outstanding doctor with an exceptionally strong background in medical eye health and vision care. Having practiced at various VA hospitals and private practices in southern California and the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Javaheri has gained tremendous experience in management of retinal and corneal diseases as well as pediatric, geriatric vision care and “hard to fit” contact lens cases.  Dr. Javaheri is a current member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington.

 

KIRSTEN MA, O.D.

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Ma received her Bachelor of Science at the University of Washington. She later attended Pacific University in Oregon where she received her Doctor of Optometry and Master in Education with a focus on functional vision in children and special education. She expanded her understanding of ocular disease and myopic control through comprehensive training in clinics spanning from Alaska to Pennsylvania. Returning to Washington, she completed a residency in Pediatric Optometry and gained extensive experience in vision therapy and vision rehabilitation. 

Effective vision extends beyond the sought-after 20/20 line and includes clear, single, and comfortable vision. Dr. Ma is passionate about early detection and intervention of binocular vision problems and other underlying visual needs that affect vision, as she believes the best visual success can help children and adults succeed in learning and in life. 

Dr. Ma is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Optometric Physicians of Washington (OPW), and College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). She is also a participating doctor in InfantSEE, providing vision exams free of charge to patients 6-12 months old. In her free time she enjoys exploring nature, learning about different cuisines and cultures, and making art. Dr. Ma is conversational in American Sign Language and well-versed in Deaf culture. 

 

OUR CARING STAFF

Our staff is thoroughly trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of the eye care field, including surgical procedures for cornea, retina, cataract and cosmetic surgical surgery.  Our staff members are also courteous and polite, we treat our patients with utmost respect.

HELEN

Office Manager. Helen started with Renton Vision Clinic in 2021 and is now the Office Manager of Meadows Vision Center. As an Office Manager, she strives to provide the best patient care experience possible and often goes above and beyond to make sure our patients are taken care of.

IVANIA

Optometric Technician. With years of experience in the field of optometry, Ivania is familiar with all types of optometric testing needed by the doctors.

MANI

Front Desk Administrator. Mani coordinates with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow, relay messages, and support scheduling and administrative needs. He is also the first point of contact for patients, answering inquiries, managing appointments, handling insurance communications.
